    Description

    For Sale: 1904-05 Russo-Japanese War Medal - Excellent Condition.
    This medal was awarded to a Japanese soldier who fought against Russia during the Russo-Japanese War. The ribbon is in excellent condition and the "battle bar" device across it states "war medal" in Japanese. The obverse of the medal shows crossed Japanese Army and Navy flags with a chrysanthemum crest above and a pawlonia crest below (the pawlonia crest is symbolic of the governmental seal of Japan). The medal itself is made of gilded bronze and is in amazing condition for its age.
