1910 Cavalry Shovel head. with canvas sheath. no picket pin

Description

one set 1910 cavalry shovel attachment for picket pin ( not included) with canvas case/sheath.
pin fits tightly into shovel, was inserted to confirm fit.  picket pins available for purchase easily( not included in this auction)
canvas leather strap is dated 1909  has RIA stamped as well as EEB inspectors marks? as seen in photos
canvas has ink stamp of RIA. 1910   G  as seen
leather shows some crazing and drying but is still flexible and looks untreated.
canvas shows some light staining and dirt from storage/handling but minimal
some light crud? or surface rust on steel attachment. minimal. swivel stiff but moves.
shovel has black painted surface  and shows transfer canvas pattern onto painted surface.
shovel does not look to have been in  the ground/ used.
edges/ blade do show some loss of black @85% black present.
