    Description

    This auction is for an Antique 1890s GERMAN Pickelhaube Helmet ‘In Memory Of’ Porcelain PIPE BOWL. It is Pre-WWI military helmet.
    This is a piece of an antique pipe. It has a very cool old helmet on it that opens and closes. It is in pretty good shape compared to some others that I have seen, however there are definitely scratches and scrapes and some discoloration in places. I am not certain, but I believe that it is broken off at the bottom. Some other ones that I have found while researching have a little knob and are a little longer. I am guessing this is no longer usable, but I don’t know much about pipes. There are some specs on the outside, and definitely some discoloration in things on the inside as shown.
    I thought it would be cool to display it standing up, but it does not stand by itself.
    The last photo shows the translation of ‘zum andenken’, which is written on the pipe and black. There’s also some gold paint around the rim and as decoration around the words.
