About 1 7/8" x 2 3/4" in Very Good condition. Almost no scratches at all just a couple of tiny ones that are likely recent. It could be rubbed and polished to a shiny state however I say that as a condition description more than a suggestion that you should do it. It is almost certainly nautical and my feeling is that it dates to the early part of the previous century. The design is very basic and it could be a bit newer or a good bit older. Single piece, doesn't come with the part to hook on to. Not one you see many of and newer varieties are thinner metal, this would be a good acquisition for the price.
