Antique Leather U.S. Army Ammo Shell Carrier Bag

For sale we have an Antique Leather U.S. Army Ammo Shell Carrier. The bag looks similar to a duffel bag and is 15" long, 9" tall, and 7" wide. Got this at an auction years ago and they called it an antique U.S. Army shell holder. I'm not sure if that's what this bag actually is. I can't seem to find any markings to identify who made the bag or where it came from. It's also in pretty rough condition so it could be buried under the layer of dirt and stamped on the leather. The leather is pretty dry and there is some obvious wear. The good news is the bag actually still closes as all the latches work. The middle latch is a little tricky and the sliding mechanism is some what sharp. The handle has come undone on one side but it looks like it might be easy to fix. There is one tear in the bag at one of the seams on the bottom. Noticed one other tear on the face of the bat. The inside lining of the bag appears to be in pretty decent condition. Bag is a little warped but with some care it could make for a great conversation piece.
