    Description

Scarce bayonet which was the last Yataghan blade
    designed
bayonet and only Yataghan blade bayonet for use on a Mauser rifle.
Bayonet and scabbard are in great shape.
Interesting bayonet as it matches exactly with the Brazilian M1904 Mauser bayonets which were used with the 7mm 1904 Mauser - Vergueiro rifles by the Rio de Janeiro  police force.
This bayonet however has no markings and is in what appears to be an Austrian scabbard (it fits perfectly).
    Scabbard
has "CE" over "WG" on the frog stud and AA372 on the reverse at the throat.
Wood shows a bit of wear and age but no damage.
Blade is fairly nice but has a little light
    pitting
    towards the tip,
    nothing
    severe though.
    Blade measures 18"
    Handle is 4.8"
    MRD is .614"
