Imperial German Model 1889 Sword and Scabbard : Chinese Forces, Boxer Rebellion.
Chinese officers sword by E & F Hörsten of Solingen c1900 the blade Hörsten with Chinese Imperial Dragon in Excellent collector's condition.
On September 10, 1901, all the broadswords were handed over to the Chinese police .
The ricasso is stamped with E&F.HORSTER SOLINGEN and there is a leather washer wher the blade meets the guard.Item not cleaned.The scabbard has remnants of the black coating on the handle has remnants of the gold coating.
