Original COriginal Chinese Republican Police Copper Cap Badge. 1911 Wuchang Uprising flag pattern of the Hubei Military Government. The design consists of a central circle with the inscription and 18 rays with a circle at each tip. The 18 discs reprersented stars. The flag was called the "18-star flag" This badge style was worn for a short time after the the revolution, until the new dress regulations of 1914 mandated a five-color star cap badge.
