German M1898 Quillback Bayonet Dated 1903 w/Leather Scabbard

German or Prussian M1898 quillback bayonet with scabbard, the regimental markings on the blade & scabbard DO NOT match, and scabbard fits poorly and is not in great condition. Scabbard has B11R510, hilt has 160R40. Made by Erfurt (Prussian Royal Arsenal) and marked on the blade but that mark is not clear at all, only Er and the left part of the crown can be made out. Spine of the blade is marked with a crown over a W and under that is 03 and below that is an inspection mark (this same mark appears all over the hilt, even on the screws, it's everywhere). The scabbard has a different inspection mark on both sides of where the blade goes in. On the blade, the W with a crown is for Kaiser Wilhelm II and 03 is the manufacture date, 1903. I don't know when the scabbard was made. 2 piece grips. The button works perfectly. Blade is 20.5" long. The blade has some rust but not much, it also has some very light areas of black and pitting. The wood grips have some dents and dings, about what you'd expect given the age, nothing remarkable. This will ship insured and signature required.
