HOBBIT waistcoat from the HOBBITON FILM SET

Description

One waistcoat from the hobbiton Film set in Matamata New Zealand.
This was made to hang on the clotheslines of the hobbit houses.
This has seen the weather, so is sun faded.
This exact waistcoat is in the films 'The Hobbit'
After the films were complete, all of the garments from the original film set were replaced.
I had the privilege of remaking all these clothes, so I was sent the originals to copy.
I still have these in my workroom, so now I need to make room for new projects!
Amazing piece of film history.
This waistcoat is made to fit a small scale female hobbit.
Measurements are as follows;
Bust 68 cm / 27 inches
Waist 58 cm / 23 inches
Length (from shoulder to hem at front) 42 cm / 16 1/2 inches
It is made from cotton upholstery fabric and a jute braided lacing.
