Illinois Central Gulf Railroad Collectors Set...books/patches/envelope.
2 unused manila envelopes with the Illinois Central Gulf logo from 1976.
2 ICG logo patches. One showing the Iowa with with train. The other is plain "I" black patch. Both have wear and used condition.
Illinois Central Gulf Railroad schedule of wages and rules with UTU binder and book from 1973. Binder is in orange ICG. It's a paper inside binder. Both in like new condition.
Illinois Central Railroad company freight tariff  601 - S from 1968. This is all the rates, stations, and connecting railroads served in Iowa and Minnesota for grain and grain products. Lots of info from this book. Few things no longer around.
1970 book about the opening of the Woodcrest shops in Homewood, Illinois. This book has a description of the facility and all the information that goes in to the planning of it that started in 1968. It also includes the includes a paper map that folds out and a ton of information and photos from the new facility. I didn't realize Woodcrest was that old. Very neat collector's piece of history.
"Gulf" was added to the IC in 1972 when the IC merged with the GMO and the ICG became. 1988 the "Gulf" was dropped.
