Description
This module is ideally suited to adding motion sensing to your project. The ADXL345 chipset outputs a digital signal for x, y and z motion. The chipset provides the ability to adjust the sensitivity to meet your needs between +-2/4/8/16g. The module can then be interfaced with your project to make use of the data by a choice of I2C or SPI connections.
The module outputs to I2C/SPI, when combined with free libraries it is possible to utilize the onboard processing capabilities to perform data conversions and combination of data for greater accuracy and precision. Please contact us if you require assistance in configuring the unit.
As a simple module it will suit use within a large range of projects based on microcontrollers such as Arduino boards and the Raspberry Pi. The module has a full breakout of 2.54mm spaced pins each with labels. An area of unsoldered pins provide access to more advanced features such as interrupts as well as the SPI interface.
This module is part of the Keyestudio EASY-plug range and features the series standardised connector. The series promotes connection to other modules and microcontrollers without the risk of wiring incorrectly. Further more the socket is compatible with all readily available standard RJ11 ended cables.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information regarding the module's operation.
