Metal House Star Patrol II Battery Op Japanese Robot Mint in Box

Description

A now very hard to find example of the Star Patrol II battery operated Metal House robot in metallic silver and red finish. The robot is listed as used but was only removed from its box to test for operation. The robot is in mint unplayed with condition in a mint box. When switched on the robot comes to life as he walks steadily forward with an illuminated 'Mr. Atomic' style panel, pauses with a robotic rat-tatt-tatt noise and Rotate-O-Matic action, and then repeats. This was one of the last models manufactured Metal House in 2015. Metal House closed its doors more than 4 years ago; this is your chance to own a classic hand-made Japanese tin robot in original factory condition.
Requires D cell batteries to operate (not included).
The robot is in beautiful condition but does have a minor blemish as shown in the last photograph (uneven red paint on the L-hand side/edge of the red chest panel).
