This is a cool vintage sword which is goldtone and enameled in red, white and blue. Shield (coat of arms? in the center with fleur de lis and different symbols around which appears to be a snake, hammer, crown, an island, acorn, flower and a couple of others I am not sure of.  I don't know what country this is from nor what part of the military it was used for or even if it is military? It was purchased at auction in a mixed lot and no other information is available.
