Your bid is for THE NEW YORK CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY, MOHAWK DIVISION, Dispatcher's Record of Movement of Trains, located in Utica, New York, and dated, July 19, 1965. This unfolded sheet measures 46.0 by 159.5 cm (about 18 & 1/8ths by 62 & 3/4th inches archaic measure. This ETT covers the 153.4 miles between INT. S.K (i.e. Selkirk) and Syracuse Dewitt. Plus Rotterdam Jct. to Canastota on the West Shore, the Albany and Troy line, and the T&S (i.e. Troy & Schenectady), Herkimer and L.F. & D. (i.e. Little Falls & Dodgeville) Branches. Busy times on a cool, cloudy mid-summer Sunday, 55 years ago. I think you’ll find just about 70 trains entered, but being a Sunday, the branch lines are quiet. When you unfold this sheet, you will see why I was challenged with a similar sized sheet on the B&M, covering Ayer to Rotterdam Jct. during this same era, because I am left handed. These sheets were not designed for that at all, which frustrated my assistant chiefs as I kept turning the sheet sideways to record crew names! This sheet has been folded four times for ease in shipping and storage unless you have a huge drawer. It is in excellent condition with no defects to mention other than a small, nickel-sized chunk chewed off in the exact middle lower margin as shown in the scan.
