Pre Ww1 1908 38 Cal holster.
1908 US ARMY ROCK ISLAND MODEL 1892 HOLSTER | 1908 US Army Model 1892 Rock Island Arsenal Leather Holster, for the 38 Caliber Revolver. "Rock Island Arsenal 1908" marked on the rear. Inspectors initials of "T.C.C." are marked underneath. "E Battery 5" marked on the front flap, . This could be from a 5th Field Artillery Regiment or part of the 1st battalion. Some more research needs to be done. t "US" embossed on the front. The holster features a lanyard loop and leather thong that protrudes through the belt loop. | Size: 12.5"x5" | Condition: Excellent. Soft and supple leather. Brass rivets are showing oxidation. General wear is present throughout the holster.
