  • Condition: For a 120 year old bayonet, I would estimate good condition. Light corrosion marks on blade, guard and grip (end of grip probably worst condition).     The Murata Type 18 11mm rifle replaced the earlier Type 13 in 1885 (production ending in 1905) and this represents the accompanying bayonet to the Type 18 rifle.  Note the chrysanthemum on the guard in pictures.
    The blade lock spring is in operating condition.
