This standard-magazine-sized book measures 21.0 by 26.7 cm and contains 128 pages, plus the wraps, with Peter A. Hansen as Editor / Publisher. The front cover shows East Broad Top RR No.15 operating a scheduled excursion train in 2006. Sally and I rode what was probably the same train the following year. In Editor’s Seatbox, R&LHS President, Robert Holzweiss, informs all readers that this will be Peter Hansen’s last issue as he was suffering from a malignant brain tumor. Peter subsequently died on 15 May 2020 at age 62. Deputy Editor, Dan Cupper, will become the RRH editor, with Kevin Holland as Deputy Editor. In SHORT TAKES, “East Broad Top charts a secure future” as the EBT Foundation, Inc. takes over from the Kovalchick family by purchasing the railroad, buildings and rolling stock. Which our PRR psgr traffic rep rode the following day from Chicago to Philadelphia. A most candid and enjoyable document as this article covers 14 pages, including illustrations of the period.
