Description
This is a NYSA or New York State Auxilliary very rare tailcoat after the 1902 US Army pattern formal tailcoat.I believe the Auxilliary was comprised of Veterans(?) and is a National Guard Regiment.
T
he commonly encountered version of this Regiment's uniform is the tailcoat that was unchanged since before the US Civil War and apparently continued to be used even after the turn of the last century.
In all my years collecting this is the only specimen that I have seen that is copied from the 1902 Pattern Uniform so it is very rare.
In addition the condition is exemplary.
I can find no defects to the materials on the exterior. The only noticeable wear is to the interior armpit area. See the photo,
The tails also have pristine flaming bomb insignia.
In short, not only is this a very rare and unusual pattern, but it is in wonderful condition as well.
I know that you will be thrilled to acquire this uniform.
You are welcome to make a reasonable offer on this uniform.
