  • Condition: I have looked through a jeweler’s loupe and see small chips in the red, in the right side (face), and tiny chips at the points of the cross at 3 points on the face and 2 on the reverse. Heavy tarnish overall (probably solid silver). The only problem that I could see is small bends in the a couple points of the cross. The original ribbon is in poor condition, very tattered. There moderate wear with some scratches and heavy tarnish. Priced accordingly. You are buying the material pictured.

    Description

    Rare original membership medal of the Veteran Corps of Artillery, State of New York. Full size medal. Stamped number “32” on the reverse just below the suspension ring. The medal itself measures approximately 1 1/4” across at the widest. There is a penny in one scan to show scale (not included in the sale). Not marked to maker. I have looked through a jeweler’s loupe and see small chips in the red, in the right side (face), and tiny chips at the points of the cross at 3 points on the face and 2 on the reverse.
