    Romanian Sanitary Merit Medal, 1st Class, 1913 Very Valuable
    Breast Badge, 60x36 mm, gilt Bronze, original suspension crown, ring and ribbon. On the obverse the portrait of Queen Elisabeta & on the reverse the Royal Cipher of King Carol over the inscription Medical Merit 1913.
    The Cross was instituted in 1913 in 3 Classes, to be awarded to the medical personnel who displayed outstanding skill, courage and dedication during the cholera epidemic in Romania (2nd Balkan War, 1913)
