Soviet Medal “Veteran of Labor”, 1970s-80s issue.
GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL award of the Soviet era made at the Soviet Mint and officially bestowed on behalf of the Government of the USSR by local authorities throughout the former Soviet Union. This is not a post-Soviet issue, copy or souvenir!
The medallion is in brass with silver plating, 34 mm wide. The obverse shows hammer & sickle emblem, laurel wreath, letters CCCP (“USSR”) and inscription “Veteran of Labor”. The reverse has raised inscription “For Many Years of Diligent Labor”.
The medal is in EXCELLENT condition, with nicely preserved factory-applied black finish on the background. There are no significant bumps, dings, scratches or other serious defects. The ribbon is old but clean, without excessive soiling, stains or wear. The pin attachment is fully functional.
