    Pre-WWI Model 1896 .38 Revolver Cartridge Box (Dated 1908)
    Description: Nice clean example with a little soiling on the front of the flap. The tongue is stamped 2.G. / 63 on the tip near the finial. The straps have a little crazing on the top and
    one strap end is loose. If you are looking at the back it's the left strap
    . The inspector on this is T.C.C. which stands for Thomas C. Carroll. These boxes were dyed black until 1902 when they switched over to the russet leather color.
