    Description

    Five 11" x 3 1/2" mini-panoramic sepia tone photos of deck scenes aboard USS South Dakota ACR-9 c 1911-1912.
    During 1911-1912 USS South Dakota cruised to The Philippines, China, and Japan. Writing on the reverse of these photos reads that these were taken in Kobe, Japan.
    During this trip the name of the ship was changed to the name of a South Dakota city making her the USS Huron.
