    Up for sale rare Russian Imperial Navy fleet branch of service pair of shoulder boards. This is everyday-parade version from 1904. Fancy golden russian Imperial lace pattern, black color piping and back are correct for Russian Imperial Navy fleet. Boards come with matching correct size/silver color Imperial Navy 3/4" buttons and very rare WW1 insignia.
    Standard 2 1/4 width, 5 1/2" length. There is normal wear on the boards due to the age. Bottom straps loops are missing.
    Historical reference: shoulder boards were first introduced in Russian Imperial Army in the middle of 19th century and phased out when Russian Empire ended in 1917. This type of officers boards were introduced in 1904 and used all the way up to the end of Russian Empire in 1917. Both the embroidered and metal insignia stars were used for rank designation.
